When you order one of our photographs, you will receive an individually reproduced giclée print.

- What is a giclée print?
A "giclée (zhee-CLAY)" print is a high-resolution, high-fidelity reproduction done on a special large format printer. The giclée printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. The quality of the giclée print rivals traditional silver-halide and gelatin printing processes and is commonly found in museums, art galleries, and photographic galleries.

- What type of paper do you use?
Our photographs are printed on Hahnemühle Albrecht Durer Watercolor 210 gsm coated, high-quality, mold-made watercolor paper. It is an acid-free, single-side coated paper with 50 percent rag showing a natural white finish with a slightly structured, soft-textured surface matte. This high-quality paper is ideal for digital fine art reprodutions.

- What type of canvas do you use?
Our Premium Canvas is a museum quality canvas with a thicker and more pleasing texture than regular canvas. It is a professional grade, bright white, poly-cotton canvas. The poly-cotton weave provides more resistance to humidity and shrinkage over time. The acid free coating offers improved ink saturation and better contrast over most regular matte canvases and is also ideal for digital fine art reproductions.

- What mounting options do you provide?
- Unmounted Prints (Paper or Canvas):
Prints that are unstretched are shipped rolled in a tube. Large volume unstretched print orders may be shipped flat.
The advantage to unstretched prints is that we can offer more print sizes whereas with the stretched option we are limited to the sizes of the stretcher frames.
A canvas or paper print will have 1" to 2" extra border (margin) going around the printed area. We do not offer borderless prints.
If you plan to have a professional framer "gallery wrap" the canvas print (in which the printed area goes on the side), you may want to choose the unmounted canvas.
- Stretched & Mounted Standard Wrap
(Canvas only):
The normal method for when we stretch a print is to secure the canvas with staples on the side. Since canvas stretches a little, a slight amount of print "bleed" may wrap over the sides.
Because the staples are visible, most people will frame their print.
- Stretched & Mounted White Sides Wrap
(Canvas only):
Unlike the standard wrap method, the white sides wrapped print has the staples in the back. A slight amount of print "bleed" may wrap over the sides.
This method is used for large size prints (usually 20" x 30") or when prints have at least one side equal or longer than 30 inches.
Because the staples are in the back some people will hang these prints up without a frame.
- About Wrapping Image Around Sides:
At this time we do not offer the "gallery wrap" or "museum wrap" method of stretching and mounting in which the printed area wraps all the way around the sides to the back.
If you plan on having a print gallery wrapped, we recommend ordering an unstretched print.
